Sao Paulo, Brazil, December 2015: Energia Halo, Black Opal’s filly, scored a second race victory at the Sao Paulo Jockey Club last Sunday December 5th, 2015. Energia Halo (Super Electric, by Gloria de Campeao) dominated the 10th race, despite not being the favorite. Energia Halo has a family line of champions, and seems to follow the same road. "We are very proud of Energia Halo’s “said Eduardo Schuch, Chairman of Black Opal Group. “She has improved immensely during this past year and we have high expectations for her on the track”.
The 3 year old, chestnut filly trained by M. R. Campos and guided by jockey M. Ribeiro strode clear to win the 1.300 meter turf contest.
Another of Black Opal’s thoroughbreds, Red Rock Pepper, placed in the 8th race of the same day. This colt is also expected to exceed in future race results.
